Rocco at Ten Months

Happy tenth, our bachungchungchung! 🎂

You now have three teeth! 😁 Hehe. And your gums are too fat, they look like they’re giving birth to brand new teeth soon. At first, you seemed bothered by your aching gums, but it didn’t last long. You were back to your jolly, bungisngis self in no time. 

You’re a big eater! 🐖 You chew and swallow whatever you are given, and you’re mad when someone else is eating and you’re not. Unlike your ate Lia, it seems like we won’t have a problem concerning your appetite. Yehey! You like fruits and vegetables and meat and rice! We haven’t given you ampalaya yet, let’s see if you’ll like it too. 

Like what’s expected from a macho gwapito baby, your arms and legs are very strong, like Superman!💪 It’s not easy to carry you because you push and pull and wriggle and squiggle! Even changing your nappies is quite a challenge because you don’t stay put. Ganyan ba talaga ang baby boys? 

You have learned a couple of tricks the past month. Close-Open is now your thing, as well as High Five/Appear! Yan ang mga natutunan mo from your lolo Vic! Hehe. 🤣

In general, you are a very happy baby, my love. It’s easy to make you smile and laugh. You even have this sheepish smile when I’m hugging you that I find so sweet and cute. Oh, how I love youuuu. You’re madaldal like your ate, always babbling and yelling, sometimes even in the middle of the night or early morning.🗣️ Can’t wait to really chat with you soon. We’ll sure have a lot of fun!

By the way, August is National Breastfeeding Month, so I’d like to congratulate the two of us for our successful breastfeeding journey so far! You know, I’ve already accepted the fact that you have a habit of biting me sometimes, but lately, you have a new hobby while feeding. While on one boob, your hand is making kurot my other boob and it’s painful ha! I try my best not to react because you will just laugh and do it over and over again, but sometimes I can’t help it. Haaay, Rocco!
