One of the many things motherhood has taught me is how to be frugal. :) Ever since mommy-hood hit in 2015, it has been my practice to do regular price surveys of Lia's daily essentials, and diapers are on top of this list. It was October of that year when I last posted a price survey on nappies, and it was all about medium-sized diapers then. Today, let's do XL because Lia's "choco-butt" no longer fits small, medium, or large. =D

Now that Lia is turning two, we are using three kinds of diapers. For everyday pangbahay use during the day, she uses EQ Regular diapers, and these are supplied by my in-laws (thanks Mama and Papa). For bedtime, she uses Huggies Dry because I think it's doing a great job in keeping Lia dry overnight despite her numerous wiwi sessions while we sleep. I've tried other brands and I like Huggies best. :) And when we're out and about, she uses her trusty Huggies Dry Pants that's very convenient and easy to change even when we're in the car, in the mall, at the park, etc.
And that's a roundup of XL diaper price tags in the local market today! :) I'll definitely come up with a new one when the SRPs listed here become outdated. Hope this helps! :)

ReplyDeleteI've been wanting to transition my lo's diapers to huggies or EQ but im kind of worried she might get rashes. Right now we're using Pampers Dry Pants 60s (which is kinda pricey) but is very much absorbent and it kept my lo's rashes away.

However, many cloth diapering systems require multiple pieces and/or steps and can be very intimidating for caregivers other than Mom, who changes dozens of diapers each week.
