Riella Noelle's Baptism

Matthew 28:19-20
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.
And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

On the 4th of July, 2015, our Riella Noelle became part of God's church. :) She was exactly 3 months and 6 days old on the day of the holy sacrament.

The baptism was held on a rainy Saturday morning, 11am, at Christ the King, Greenmeadows (where Lia's dad and I got married 3 years ago). We wanted the ceremony to be private, so we booked the parish's Baptistry all to ourselves. :)

Lia, who got hungry after the ceremony,  had 6 pairs of Ninong and Ninangs.
(L-R) Ninongs Eldwin, Rolan, Erwin, Mark, and Ian (not in photo: Ninong Patrick)
Ninangs Kleng, Cherry, Myka, and Carol (not in photo: Ninangs Lerma & Tanya)
We're super happy and relieved that everything at the Church turned out well despite us being late! :( Our 'call time' was 10:45 because the ceremony was at 11, but we arrived at 11:10! :( Traffic was so bad along C5 that morning because of the rain, we thought we'd never make it.  Thank God for the patience He gave the priest. Hehe.

Lia's 'after-party' was held at Mom and Tina's, Pasig. We decided to do it there because it's famous for good food (especially cakes!), and the function hall is already beautiful on its own - no extra styling needed. I guess it was a really good decision because the guests kept on raving about the food and the place during and after the reception! :)

Lia's dessert table. :) The theme of the after-party was ANGELS with a rustic feel.

That's angel Lia on each table centerpiece :)
Here's a closeup of her yummy angel cake :)

Angel Lia's baptism invitation with her party souvenirs - angel cupcakes and meringue tubs :)
Our sleepy baby in her reception outfit :)

Now here are some photos of Lia's party guests.  Needless to say, these are the people closest to us. :)

The party was a success! :) We were very happy because this was the day when most of our guests saw Lia in the flesh for the first time. We felt everyone's love for our baby, and that's what's important. :)  Again, we're very thankful to the Lord that He has accepted our baby into His Holy Church, and that her first ever party turned out just the way we wanted it to be.

Thank You, Lord! :) Please continue to bless our little family. :)

Cheers,

    1. Hi dear! Thank you! :) The dessert table was c/o Mom & Tina's. I just had to pay for the dessert for 6k, styling the spread was already free. The centerpieces were theirs also, I just put the sticks with Lia's photo. Hope this helps! :)

  3. Hi there. I was wondering if you have Mom & Tina's email address? I am based abroad and for the life of me I can't find their email online. Too expensive naman to call them from here. Hehehe. Thank you.
