Feels Like Home

by Chantal Kreviazuk

Something in your eyes,
Makes me want to lose myself
Makes me want to lose myself
In your arms.
There's something in your voice,
Makes my heart beat fast
Hope this feeling lasts
The rest of my life.

If you knew how lonely my life has been
And how long I've been so alone
If you knew how I wanted someone to come along
And change my life the way you've done.

It feels like home to me
It feels like home to me
It feels like I'm all the way back where
I come from
It feels like home to me
It feels like home to me
Feels like I'm all the way back where I belong

A window breaks down a long dark street
And a siren wails in the night.
But I'm alright 'cause I have you here with me
And I can almost see through the dark there is light.

If you knew how much this moment means to me
And how long I've waited for your touch.
If you knew how happy you are making me
I never thought that I'd love anyone so much.

It feels like home to me
It feels like home to me
It feels like I'm all the way back where
I come from
It feels like home to me
It feels like home to me
Feels like I'm all the way back where I belong
Feels like I'm all the way back where I belong

Poor Fishies

You saw my first ever omelet.  Now here's another first...  Ta-daaaa! =D

It's my first time to ever lay hands on fish in the kitchen, & look what I did to them. :( Poor fishies! I'll do better next time, promise!

Cheers,

"I Love You. Very Simple. Very Truly."

A Quote from the movie Chasing Amy (1997):

"I love you. Very simple, very truly. You're the epitome of every attribute and quality I've ever looked for in another person.… I can't stand next to you without wanting to hold you. I can't look into your eyes without feeling that longing you only read about in trashy romance novels. I can't talk to you without wanting to express my love for everything you are.… I've never felt this before, and I like who I am because of it.… There isn't another soul on this … planet who's ever made me half the person I am when I'm with you.… I'm forever changed because of who you are and what you've meant to me."

My Rolly. 25 Feb 2012.
Cheers,

Valentine's 2012 ♥

Our V-day celebration this year was different. In the past, we always made it a point to spend one weekend of February together, usually out of town.  In 2012, the TIPID MODE was on. =D  Our day of days is getting nearer, and we didn't want to spend unnecessarily on things which we have good alternatives for.  Besides, celebrating the Day of Love does not really have to be expensive.  Ang mahalaga, magkasama kami. =D

The AVP above shows photos and clips taken on Feb. 12, Sunday before Valentine's.  We never celebrate it on the day itself. Corny eh. =P Traffic pa.  (PS. Please forgive the poor quality of the footages. =$)

But as usual, Rolly got me a nice surprise on February 14!

Weee! Thanks hal! :) I know you liked the PC game and the giant card I gave you. =D  Happy Valentine's every day! ♥

Of Wedding Budgets and Compulsive Brides-to-Be

I feel happy!  I just finished running the "almost final" numbers for our big day, and I'm glad to have found out that YES, WE CAN DO IT! :)

Rolly and I at the onset did set our priorities, we had an agreement about what we intend to splurge on, and what we can do without.  We agreed on a budget range from Day 1 of our wedding planning, since all elements of the plan would have to depend on how much money we are willing to spend.
We've been engaged for seven months now, and during the course of this time, we have gone to several bridal fairs, met lots of wedding suppliers, and booked the chosen ones from them.  I, the bride-to-be, learned all the bits and pieces that will form the wedding of my dreams, the wedding that has been inside my head ever since I was as small as a pumpkin.  Admittedly, I had gone "astray." =D Without thinking of the originally agreed expense list, my "nice-to-haves" have turned into my "non-negotiables."

My wonderful fiance has always been there, trying to bring me back to my senses all the time.  But sometimes, his love for me would get the better of him.  Hehe.  The consequence? I'd get what I want. Ho ho ho. *evil*

Today, our list of wedding suppliers is almost complete ('almost' because we have yet to book a quartet, but we've budgeted for it already).  I opened our wedding worksheet this morning, and calculated our balances.  Would you like to know if we are within our budget range? The answer is NO.  We have exceeded it by more than a hundred thousand bucks (Yup, the culprit is me)!  But I feel happy. =D Our bank account (plus a little help from Rolly's parents) says we could pay off the expenses!  Yaaaay!

To my husband-to-be, thank you. Since 888 and even when you were still courting me, you have always made sure that I am happy.  You're sad when I frown, you're worried when I am not satisfied.  Thank you thank you thank you.  You are more than what I deserve, but God gave me you.  I can't ask for a better fiance and husband, because in my heart of hearts, I am certain that you are the best.

Looking forward to our ever after! ♥

Our Happy Little Saturdate :)

I live in the north, he lives in the south.  We don't see each other every single day, but Rolly and I always make it a point to be together at least twice weekly: one weekday and one weekend.

Because Rolly works like a beaver and he usually has JRP trainings on Saturdays, our weekend date usually falls on a Sunday.  However, yesterday was an exception. :) Anticipating the exhaustion he'd feel after his 21k Condura run this morning, we knew we already had to "Saturdate."  And so I drove to the South.

I am such a supportive fiancee (ahem), so instead of him going up north, I went to the south instead so he could reserve his legs' strength for Condura.

Traffic was heavy, and I arrived at Festival Mall with my tummy grumbling.  Rolly was already there to meet me, and we wolfed down a heavy lunch at Racks.

Rolly's class wasn't until 3pm, so we killed time amusing ourselves at Tom's World. =D I wasn't surprised that I did not outnumber his shots. I was having a terrible, terrible headache. :( (Thanks for getting me Advil, sweetie).

Then it's time for training! Huuuush, the classroom was an English-speaking zone, that's why I kept my mouth shut the whole time! =P Hehe just kidding.
His trainees were late, and it's not everyday that I'm at his workplace, so we took photos. =P (Nah, in reality we're just really shutterbugs.) =P

I wanted to take shots of Rolly while he was wearing his trainer hat, but I did not want to cause any distraction.  So I kept my butt glued to the seat at the corner and remained quiet.  His class was really fun!  During the two-hour training, I sometimes sneaked and posted tweets. =P

Waaaaah! He's such a pa-cute flirt! He winked at me while teaching! Hahaha! =))  Not sure if anybody else caught him. =D Hmm. I guess if he became my trainer in real life, I would have a crush on him. Seryoso. Rolly's such an adorable teacher, especially when he laughs and cracks jokes. :) Not to mention that he's very competent in what he does! (Pagbigyaaaan, husband-to-be ko yan eh! #LoveYourOwn =P)

We capped the day off with delicious servings of Serenitea (I loved my green apple yakult!) and chicken chops at Bon Chon (ATC).  What's new, it was another cheat day. @_@

We left the mall together, and our cars left the parking lot together.  As always, Royce and Happie (names of our tsikots) were on the road side by side, with windows rolled down.

As the traffic light went green, we shouted "I LOVE YOUUUUU!" at the top of our lungs and hit the road towards our separate destinations, Rolly to his house and I to mine. :(  It won't be long now when we shall be together inside one car, and he can take me home to a place we'll then call ours. ♥
