It's officially summer 🌞 and since it was Lia's 4th birthday, we decided that it's time that we bring her to the beach! It's her very first time to experience the sand and the sea because both her parents are not beach persons, hehe. Our destination? Pico de Loro.🌊
This was our first trip as a family of four, and thankfully, Pico de Loro is only a two-hour drive
from our place. We stayed at Pico Sands Hotel.

It was a fun beach trip, overall, especially for the birthday girl. She couldn't stop talking about the things that she did (although all she really did was swim)!😂 This quick getaway also made us realize that it's really much more important to give the gift of memories, not things. We know Lia's experience building a sand castle for the first time (and failing at it), getting salty water in her eyes and trying so hard to not freak out, and splashing water with her daddy at the pool would be stored in her memory for a long time.💟
